Established in 2010 as HESA Airlines, the carrier was rebranded in 2011 as Sepahan Airlines. The carrier operates domestic services throughout Iran from its hub at Isfahan International Airport. The carrier is owned by the Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company (HESA). Sepahan Airlines operates a fleet of HESA-assembled Antonov An-140 turboprop aircraft, designated as the IrAn-140.
